Developing a drive for BLDC motor-based ceiling fans in 2009 and little later BLDC
motors to augment drives business. This move helped to create India’s first
Super-efficient ceiling fan ‘Superfan’ by launching it on 12.12.2012.

Backed up by encouraging customer orders our new Firm Versa Drives Private Limited
derived from Versatile drives was born. A new private firm
‘Versa Drives Private Limited’
emerged from our partnership firm Computer Controlls Corporation.
While the idea of India’s own AC motor drive was sprouting we assisted our customers to migrate to alternate solutions and the new drives were manufactured and tested for conforming to the standards.
The Y2K problems created a shortage for software engineers and that made us think about exploring a new core product, it was decided to concentrate on motor controls.
Subsequently CCC won customer confidence by solving their EMI/EMC issues and was asked to make electrical panel for their machineries leading to our association with Schneider Electric to supply for their panel business
Some of CCC’s well known clients were Alstom, Schneider Electric, BHEL, L&T, Texmaco, Pricol, Minda, Lakshmi Card Clothing and Autoprint. Panels supplied for Alstom is used in Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
By supplying microprocessor-based textile counters for textile machinery manufacturers that replaced PLC and other applications, CCC demonstrated an early version of industrial data loggers.
CCC’s first microprocessor-based textile counters that had touch keyboards and non-volatile memory.
The origin of Versa Drives Private Limited can be traced to Computer Controlls
Corporation (CCC) started towards the end of 1989 by Durga and Sundar at Coimbatore. Our
first product was an automatic testing equipment for speedometer that helped to improve
productivity, this product line existed for nearly 20 years.
